Guilty Pleasures

Before I write about my top 10 films of last year, I have to say that my guilty pleasure of 2008 was definitely Mamma Mia! I full on loved it! It was camp, and the producers knew it. I was skeptical going into the movie theatre because I wasn't too keen on the stage musical, but came out with a big smile on my face. I will definitely watch this movie over and over and over again. From the Greek chorus, to the shout out to Colin Firth's wet white shirt Mr. Darcy, to the gorgeous scenery of Greece, this movie had it all!

And is he losing some weight????? Hmmm..... Maybe it's the colour of the shirt. Looks great on him.

Count me first in line to see Gerry do the Phantom again.

I admit it!

I love Gossip Girl and the only reason (becasue there can only be one reason) is for the divine Ed Westwick! He is so deliciously evil, and I love it! He may be on the short side, but wow is he sexy. He has the charisma, and I am sure he will do very well in his career, if Son of Rambow is anything to go by. And, he even does a convincing American accent!

Looking forward to seeing Rock N Rolla! Looks like a great movie, and Gerry looks good in the trailers.

Julie Couillard

I wonder if this book will play a role in the upcoming election battle. Nice timing, Julie. Eight days before the election is plenty of time for people to read your story, make their decision, and then say no to Harper's Conservatives. Way to bring down a government with such a provocative dress. Would her story have received the press it did, if she didn't dress this way to Maxime Bernier's swearing in ceremony in 2007?

Lucille Bluth

Best thing about 90210 is the return of Jessica Walter to our TV screens. Best of all, she is playing yet another version of Lucille Bluth! Is she a one act pony? I don't know. I doubt it (she has had a career for over 40 years), but I like this one act. I can't get enough of Lucille. Keep it up 90210 writers.
